General description

We are committed to bringing you greener alternative products, which adhere to one or more of The 12 Principles of Greener Chemistry. This is a Solid Phase Microextraction (SPME) technology product. SPME is one of the greener technologies for sample preparation as it is solvent free extraction technology and SPME fibres are re-usable and generates as little waste as possible, thus aligns with "Waste Prevention”, and ″Safer Solvents and Auxiliaries″. Application

SPME fiber assembly polydimethylsiloxane/divinylbenzene (PDMS/DVB) has been used for the continuous agitation of the vials comprising the sample after incubation for the analysis of volatiles from pineapple fruits using headspace solid phase microextraction and gas chromatography−mass spectrometry (HS-SPME-GC/MS).

Features and Benefits

Designed for use with Merlin Microseal sealing system; can be used with other septumless systems.

Footnote

Coating bonded to a flexible fused silica core, yielding a more suitable coating on a less breakable fiber. There may be a slight difference in extraction selectivity compared to the same coating on a standard fused silica core. 2cm fiber assembly contails no spring.
