Biochem/physiol Actions

NSC130813 blocks protein-protein interactions between XPF and ERCC1, two proteins involved in nucleotide excision repair (NER). The compound, NSC130813, blocks repair of DNA damage induced by platinum-based ctyotoxic drugs and DNA alkylating agents. NSC130813 synergistically potentiates cell death in cancer cell lines treated with cisplatin or mitomycin C.
