The Human PGF (placenta growth factor) ELISA (Enzyme- Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of human PGF in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants and urine.
The PGF (placental growth factor) gene codes for a proangiogenic factor and is mapped to human chromosome 14q24.3.[1][2] PGF belongs to the vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) family of growth factors. It is predominantly expressed in placenta.[3]

生化/生理作用
Reduced levels of placental growth factor (PGF) indicates restricted growth in the fetus.[6] Increased stimulation of PGF is observed in cancers and hind limb ischemia and in wound healing. Hypoxic conditions upregulate PGF expression.[1] Increased expression of PGF gene is observed in cutaneous T-cell lymphoma and it supports in the cell proliferation process.[7]
