C-C motif chemokine ligand 19 (CCL19), also known as macrophage inflammatory protein (MIP)-3β, is encoded by the gene mapped to human chromosome 9. The encoded protein is specifically expressed in lymphoid tissues.
The Mouse MIP-3-β (Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 3 β) ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of mouse MIP-3- β in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants and urine.

C-C motif chemokine ligand 19 (CCL19) acts as a chemoattractant for T and B lymphocytes, dendritic cells, macrophage progenitor cells and natural killer cells. Therefore, this protein might play an essential role in migration of T cells in the thymus and transfer of T and B cells to secondary lymphoid organs. Overexpression of MIP-3 β (macrophage inflammatory protein-3β)/ C-C motif chemokine ligand 19 (CCL19) leads to pulmonary sarcoidosis.
