DAPL1 (death-associated protein-like 1) is a diverged form of DapL enzyme. It is predominantly expressed in the retina/RPE (retinal pigment epithelium) transcriptome, epidermis, esophageal epithelium, and tongue epithelium. It is located on chromosome 2q24.

應用

DAPL1 (death associated protein like 1) plays an important role in the differentiation of epithelium and may participate in apoptotic processes, thus might be involved in AMD (age related macular degeneration) pathogenesis.
