一般描述

PRR7 (proline rich 7) is a transmembrane adaptor protein, that is located at the plasma membrane and to large vesicular perinuclear structures. It is expressed in several tissues, including leukocytes and is upregulated upon activation of T cell. It has 274 amino acids and consists of a small N-terminal extracellular peptide, a transmembrane segment, and a cytoplasmic part containing several conserved binding motifs. It is located on chromosome 5q35.3.

应用

生化/生理作用

PRR7 (proline rich 7) participates in the regulation of neural activities. Overexpression of PRR7 in Jurkat cells disturbs TCR (T cell receptor) signaling and cell survival.
