砷试纸条适用于测定水、药品、制备的生物标本和液体食品中的砷。在此MQuant®砷试纸中,试纸条需与其他试剂结合使用。通过添加锌粉(一种固体酸)和一种用于消除干扰性硫化物离子的氧化剂,可以从样品中释放出砷。在试纸的反应区上,会形成黄棕色染色。通过目视比较试纸条的反应区与比色卡的各色块,可半定量测定三价砷(III)和四价砷(V)浓度。试纸非常适合经济、快速地预测样品,以便在使用定量方法(例如Spectroquant®试纸)前估算砷浓度和可能的稀释度。
