一般描述
Indeno[1,2,3-cd]pyrene belongs to the class of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), also called as polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons or polyarenes, which are regarded as potential pollutants in the environment. PAHs are typically produced due to natural as well as anthropogenic activities; incomplete combustion of the organic matter being the predominant cause.[1][2]
