生化/生理作用

08:0辅酶A充当线粒体脂肪酸β-氧化的中间体。它阻碍柠檬酸合成酶(CS)和谷氨酸脱氢酶(GDH)的活性。在患有MCADH缺乏症(MCD)的患者中,由于中链酰基辅酶A脱氢酶(MCADH)减少了辛酰基辅酶A的β-氧化作用,因此观察到较高水平的辛酰基辅酶A。
