Biochem/physiol Actions

HPOB is a very potent, selective inhibitor of HDAC6. HPOB inhibits proliferation of normal and transformed cell lines but does not induce cell death. The compound HPOB potentiates the effects of DNA-damaging cytotoxic anti-cancer drugs.
