Cell Line Description
The antibody recognises antigens on rat thymocytes, brain, follicular dendritic cells in lymphoid organs, vascular endothelium, some smooth muscle and B lymphocytes. OX-2 antigens have molecular weights of 41kDa (brain) and 47kDa (thymocyte).
Immunogen
Rat thymocyte membrane glycoprotein
Culture Medium
RPMI 1640 + 2mM glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS)
Subculture Routine
Seed at 5x10,000 viable cells/ml. Subculture when cells reach 5x100,000-1x1,000,000 cells/ml (usually after 3-4 days); 5% CO2; 37°C.
