General description

Lithium nitrate (LiNO3) is an inorganic compound used as an electrolyte additive in rechargeable Li-S (lithium-sulfur) batteries. LiNO3 acts as an oxidizing agent.

Application

Lithium nitrate is used:
  • As an electrolyte and redox mediator in the Li-O2 battery.
  • In the preparation of LiNO3/natural phosphate (NP) catalyst. This LiNO3/NP catalyst can be employed in the synthesis of chalcones.
  • As a regenerable SEI (solid–electrolyte interphase) stabilizing agent in the rechargeable Li/O2 batteries.

We present a method to develop high performance flexible piezoelectric nanogenerators (NGs) by employing Li-doped ZnO nanowires (NWs). We synthesized Li-doped ZnO NWs and adopted them to replace intrinsic ZnO NWs with a relatively low piezoelectric coefficient. When we exploited
