Description

Application

For the selective detection of coliforms and E. coli in water, food and other material.

Preparation Note

Dissolve 37 g in 1 litre distilled water and distribute into test-tubes containing inverted Durham tubes. Sterilize by autoclaving at 121°C for 15 minutes.

Other Notes

E. coli counts in vacuum-packed beef by the MPN technique.[1]
