Application

1-Methylpiperazine may be used as a solvent in an innovative blend in combination with piperazine and water in the ratio (30/10/60 w/w/w) for the post-combustion CO2 capture for power generation. This blend is further monitored for capture performance, degradation products and stability. 1-Methylpiperazine may also be used as a mimic template for the preparation of molecularly imprinted microspheres (MIMs) used for the extraction of four plant hormones such as indole-3-acetic acid (IAA), indole-3-propionic acid (IPA), indole-3- butyric acid (IBA) and 1-naphthaleneacetic acid (NAA) in banana samples, followed by analysis by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).
