General description

Many other uses include changing information on wet labels, whether from water bath liquid nitrogen or a freezer. Filters can be marked while they are being processed under water-based buffers and lanes can be identified on wet blots before they are cut into strips for independent incubation with different antisera or probes. Alignment dots can be added to blotting filters placed over bacterial colonies or phage plaques on agar plates.
