General description

Aminomethyl ChemMatrix® resin is a polyethyleneglycol (PEG)-based resin, composed of highly cross-linked primary ether bonds, therefore the resin is chemically and mechanically stable in a broad range of solvents. It has good loading properties when compared to other PEG resins due to its availability in free-flowing powder form. This resin is also more effective than polystyrene resins in the synthesis of hydrophobic or highly structured polypeptides.

Application

Aminomethyl ChemMatrix® resin can be used as efficient support in solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS). It is also used as a starting material to synthesize dihydrolipoyl-supported polymer, which is used as an efficient and recyclable reducing agent for the reduction of disulfide compounds.
