Application

Edetate disodium USP reference standard, intended for use in specified quality tests and assays as specified in the USP compendia. Also, for use with USP monographs such as:
  • Edetate Disodium Injection
  • Edetate Disodium Compounded Ophthalmic Solution
  • Levobunolol Hydrochloride Ophthalmic Solution
  • Budesonide Nasal Spray
Chelator of divalent cations. Inhibits enzymes, such as metalloproteases, that require divalent cations for activity.
