BRE1-A (E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase BRE1A) also known by it′s gene name hRNF20, plays a role in histone code and gene regulation as a component of the RNF20/40 E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex. That complex mediates monoubiquitination of ′Lys-120′ of histone H2B,which is a specific tag for epigenetic transcriptional activation as well as a prerequisite for histone H3 ′Lys-4′ (H3K4me) and ′Lys-79′ (H3K79me) methylation.
Immunogen
GST-tagged recombinant protein corresponding to human hRNF20.
Application
This hRNF20 antibody is validated for use in WB for the detection of the hRNF20 protein.
Quality
Evaluated by Western Blotting in A431 cell lysate.
Western Blotting Analysis: A 1:1,000 dilution from a representative lot detected hRNF20 in 10 µg of A431 cell lysate.
Target description
~113 kDa observed
