General description
Albumin from porcine serum (PSA) contains two tryptophan residues and amino Terminal Cu(II)- and Ni(II)-binding (ATCUN) motif with histidine-3 substituted by tyrosine-3 compared to human serum albumin.[1]
Application
Albumin from porcine serum has been used in binding studies with:
- Oxovanadium(IV)-O2+ complexes using circular dichroism (CD) and electron paramagnetic resonance studies[1]
- magnetic resonance imaging contrast agents, B229563 and MS-325 anion[2]
