Application

Redox indicator. Blue fluorescence until oxidized to ethidium.
Dihydroethidium has been used as a superoxide probe in bovine pulmonary artery endothelial cell (BPAEC). It has been used to check the in situ generation of ROS (reactive oxygen species).[1]

    1. Yes, DMSO is a suitable solvent for this material. Stock solutions are typically prepared at 10 mM, however concentrations of up to 20 mg/mL have been achieved.
      Other solvents include Dimethylformamide, Chloroform, Acetonitrile, and Methanol. Stock solutions may be store in aliquots at -20 °C. Please see the link below to review additional information available in the product datasheet:
