Questions

1–3 of 3 Questions
  1. I already have this product. How many mL should be used to get a 7.5mg equivalent amount for Vindelov's PI?

    1 answer
    1. This product has a concentration of 50 µg/mL. To obtain a 7.5 mg equivalent, 150 mL of this product is required. Since Vindelov's PI is typically provided with propidium iodide at a concentration of 75 µg/mL, using this less concentrated product is not ideal for preparation. Please see the link below to review P4864, a 1 mg/mL PI solution that may be of interest:

  2. what is the concentration of the PI solution

    1 answer
    1. The concentration is 50 µg/ml in PBS, pH 7.4.

      Helpful?

  3. What is the recommended protocol for use/ working concentration?

    1 answer
    1. The working concentration must be determined by the end user.
