Questions

1–2 of 2 Questions
  1. What does the container look like, and what is the volume of the container the 479330-50G comes in? What is the best way to open if it is a glass ampoule with no cap?

    1 answer
    1. A photo of the packaging is not currently available. This product is packaged in a 55 mL glass ampoule. It is recommended to use a file or diamond knife to score the ampoule by holding the file in the dominant hand and the cylindrical ampoule in the non-dominant hand. Once scored in the middle, the ampoule can be covered with a cloth and cracked as usual.

  2. Is each anhydro bead composed of the eutectic mixture, or are several beads needed to average to the correct ratio?

    1 answer
    1. The composition of the bulk material (44 percent Lithium chloride and 56 percent Potassium chloride) is based on the manufacturing process. The composition of each bead or even a sample of several beads cannot be guaranteed to average to the correct ratio. For that reason, measurement of the ratio is not part of the Quality Control testing performed on this product.
