The LC-MS Post Column Flow Splitters are constructed with rugged stainless steel to allow for high pressure operation. Stainless Steel is not completely immune to chlorinated solvents. Over time, slight corrosion and discoloration may be observed with solvents such as carbon tetrachloride. Unfortunately, there is no product option available with PTFE components.

General description
LC-MS post column flow splitters with split ratio of 3:1 are ideal for LC/MS and capillary chromatography. They use two compact fluid resistor elements which are designed as cartridges for easy replacement. Provides a fixed split ratio with extremely low dead volume. The split ratio is not affected by changes in solvent viscosity or pressure and is extremely stable and reproducible. Used for post column applications.

Can this device be used with chlorinated solvents? I understand that it uses a pair of PEEK flow resistors to achieve the split ratio, which would not be compatible. Can this be purchased with PTFE components instead?
