VU0361737 is an mGluR4-specific positive allosteric modulator (PAM) with greater than 50 fold selectivity over other mGluR subtypes. The EC₅₀ values for human and rat mGlu4 are 240 and 110 nM, respectively, compared to greater than 10 mM for all other mGluRs.
