To investigate the functional involvement of caspase-4 in human retinal pigment epithelial (hRPE) cells. Expression and activation of caspase-4 in hRPE cells were measured after stimulation with proinflammatory agents IL-1beta (2 ng/mL), TNF-alpha (20 ng/mL), lipopolysaccharide (1000 ng/mL), interferon-gamma (500

The present study investigated the function of caspase-4 in endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress-induced apoptosis in human neuronal cell line SH-SY5Y. Tunicamycin, which is known to induce ER stress, activated both caspase-9 and caspase-4, and the activation of caspase-4 preceded that

Questions

  1. Hi, we recently purchased caspase 4 inhibitor (ICH-2), and I was planning to aliquot it but I was not able to find any instructions on how to dissolve it, how long and what temperature the product can be stored, etc. Could you let me know ASAP?

    1 answer
    1. This product is not tested for solubility or solution stability. However, the identical compound, under Calbiochem product 218755, is soluble at 1 mg/mL in water. Stock solutions may be stored in aliquots at -20°C for at least 3 months.
