General description

Etanercept is a tumor necrosis factor (TNF) antagonist that acts by binding with TNF cytokine or protein, thereby blocking its interaction with cell surface receptors. This dimeric fusion protein consists of 934 amino acids with a molecular mass of ~150KDa.[1][2]

    1. This is a product of the European Pharmacopoeia. The material is not intended for use in humans or animals. The item is a Reference Standard intended for analytical use in applications such as HPLC or GC. It is recommended to store the solution in working aliquots at -20°C for up to 1 month. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
