Application
Atto Rho101 NHS ester is a derivative of the well-known dye Rhodamine 101 for coupling to bio-molecules such as DNA, RNA or proteins. Characteristic features of the label are strong absorption, extraordinarily high fluorescence quantum yield, and high thermal and photo-stability. The dye is moderately hydrophilic. ATTO Rho101 is a cationic dye. After coupling to a substrate the dye carries a net electrical charge of +1.

The absorption, fluorescence and time-resolved fluorescence spectra of Rhodamine 101 dye in both methanol and acidic methanol solutions were measured. The authors achieved the characteristic information of the absorption and fluorescence spectra, and obtained the S1 lifetimes. The authors assigned

Photoswitchable or photoactivatable fluorescent dyes are potentially applicable to ultrahigh density optical memory media as well as super-resolution fluorescence imaging when the dyes are highly fluorescent and have large absorption coefficients. Here, we report on highly fluorescent photochromic dyes, which

The determination of the fluorescence quantum yields (QY, Φ(f)) of a series of fluorescent dyes that span the absorption/excitation and emission ranges of 520-900 and 600-1000 nm is reported. The dyes encompass commercially available rhodamine 101 (Rh-101, Φ(f) = 0.913)

There is an increasing interest in chromophores absorbing and emitting in the near-infrared (NIR) spectral region, e.g., for applications as fluorescent reporters for optical imaging techniques and hence, in reliable methods for the characterization of their signal-relevant properties like the
