Neurotoxicity research, 38(4), 979-991 (2020-05-06)
Anxiety leads to a global decline in quality of life and increase in social burden. However, treatments are limited, because the molecular mechanisms underlying complex emotional disorders are poorly understood. We explored the anxiolytic effects of 8-O-acetyl shanzhiside methylester (8-OaS)

Pain, 148(3), 473-480 (2010-01-13)
Injection of nerve growth factor (NGF) into the masseter muscle is not painful but does induce a localized, quick onset ( approximately 1h) and long-lasting mechanical sensitization in healthy human subjects. We tested the hypothesis that human NGF mechanically sensitizes

The G protein-coupled receptor 55 (GPR55) is a novel cannabinoid receptor, whose exact role in anxiety remains unknown. The present study was conducted to explore the possible mechanisms by which GPR55 regulates anxiety and to evaluate the effectiveness of O-1602

It is known that an interruption of acoustic input in early life will result in abnormal development of the auditory system. Here, we further show that this negative impact actually spans beyond the auditory system to the hippocampus, a system

Molecular pain, 12 (2016-09-11)
Cancer pain, especially the one caused by metastasis in bones, is a severe type of pain. Pain becomes chronic unless its causes and consequences are resolved. With improvements in cancer detection and survival among patients, pain has been considered as
