Application

The Stir Bar Actuated Mixer Fluidic 286 COP microfluidic chip applies active mixing principles by integrating stir bars to generate mixtures with a wider range of mixing ratios that are not feasible with passive mixing devices.

Features and Benefits

  • Six micromixing units varying from 20 to 150 μl chamber volumes
  • Each unit features two inlets and one outlet
  • Can generate mixtures with a wide range of mixing ratios (ie 1:10)
  • Can be powered on any standard magnetic stir plate

Components

Chip Properties:
  • Mini Luer Interface
  • Material: Cyclic olefin polymer (COP)
  • Chamber Volumes : 20 μl, 40 μl, 60 μl, 80 μl, 100 μl, 150 μl

Advanced drug delivery reviews, 128, 3-28 (2017-09-19)
Conventional systematically-administered drugs distribute evenly throughout the body, get degraded and excreted rapidly while crossing many biological barriers, leaving minimum amounts of the drugs at pathological sites. Controlled drug delivery aims to deliver drugs to the target sites at desired
