General description

GFP (green fluorescence protein) is a reporter molecule which is used for checking gene expression and protein localization. GFP emits green light when it is excited with UV/blue light. The GFP fluorescence remains stable and can be detected non-invasively in living cells.

Immunogen

Purified recombinant fragment of GFP expressed in E.coli.
Mouse monoclonal antibody raised against GFP

Application

Monoclonal Anti-GFP antibody produced in mouse has been used in western blot analysis. and immunoprecipitation.

Physical form

Purified antibody in PBS with 0.05% sodium azide.
