General description
Ultra pure DNA-free Water is generated using a Milli-Q® IQ 7000 Ultrapure Water Purification System, filter-sterilized and UV-treated, and undergoes stringent quality control testing to ensure that it is free of detectable levels of DNA, DNase, RNase, and Nickase to reduce the risk of false positive and false negative results in molecular diagnostic assays. Ultra pure DNA-free Water should be used with other ultra pure DNA-free reagents, such as Ultra pure JumpStart™ Taq DNA Polymerase, Ultra pure High-temp Reverse Transcriptase, and accompanying Ultra pure RT-PCR buffers, to minimize false positive and negative results.
Ultra pure DNA-free Water was designed for use in highly-regulated industries in applications that require a high level of performance, lot-to-lot consistency, and high sensitivity without false results from reagent-borne contamination while meeting industry-driven critical regulations. To meet this requirements we have increased the quality level of our products. The M-Clarity Program defines product quality. It provides transparency so that you can choose, with confidence, suitable products that meet your needs with respect to quality and regulatory compliance, transparency, change notification, and documentation.

Why Choose Our Ultra pure & DNA-Free Water?
When it comes to molecular workflows, water is often overlooked as a potential source of contamination. Our Ultra pure & DNA-Free Water is purpose-built to eliminate this risk, providing a reliable, ultra pure foundation for even the most sensitive applications.
When it comes to molecular workflows, water is often overlooked as a potential source of contamination. Our Ultra pure & DNA-Free Water is purpose-built to eliminate this risk, providing a reliable, ultra pure foundation for even the most sensitive applications.
- Produced Using Industry-Leading Purification Technology-
- Our Ultra pure & DNA-Free Water is generated using a Milli-Q® IQ 7000 Ultrapure Water Purification System, one of the most advanced water purification platforms available. This ensures consistently exceptional purity at the source, far exceeding the quality achievable through standard laboratory water systems.
- Multi-Step Decontamination Process- Every batch undergoes a rigorous multi-step treatment process, including filter sterilization and UV treatment, to eliminate microbial, nuclease, and nucleic acid contamination. Critically, our water is UV-treated rather than DEPC-treated, avoiding the risk of residual DEPC carryover that can inhibit downstream enzymatic reactions such as PCR, RT-PCR, and sequencing.
- Ultra pure & DNA-free- Our water is rigorously tested and certified free of detectable levels of DNA, DNase, RNase, and Nickase. This level of certified purity directly reduces the risk of false positive and false negative results in molecular diagnostic assays.
- Designed for Regulated Industries- Our Ultra pure & DNA-Free Water was specifically developed for use in highly regulated industries, where lot-to-lot consistency, sensitivity, and freedom from reagent-borne contamination are non-negotiable. It meets the stringent demands of diagnostic, clinical, and manufacturing environments where result integrity is critical.
- The M-Clarity Program- As part of our M-Clarity Program, every batch of Ultra pure & DNA-Free Water is supported by full quality documentation, transparent change notification, and regulatory compliance support. This gives you confidence that the product you rely on today will meet the same standards tomorrow.
- An Essential Component of the Ultra pure Ecosystem- Water is the foundation of every molecular reaction. Using contamination-free water alongside other Ultra pure reagents — including Ultra pure JumpStart™ Taq DNA Polymerase (UPJSTAQ), Ultra pure High-Temp Reverse Transcriptase (UPRT), and accompanying Ultra pure RT-PCR buffers — ensures that every component of your workflow meets the same uncompromising purity standard, minimizing the risk of false results across the entire assay.
Quality testing ensures the absence of detectable levels of contaminating DNA (<=1 copy of prokaryotic gDNA, <=0.1 copy of eukaryotic gDNA, and <=10 copies of plasmid DNA per 100 units of enzyme) as detected by qPCR using universal primers against 16S capable of detecting > 500,000 prokayotes, 18S capable of detecting > 110,000 eukaryotes, and Ori capable of detecting > 25,000 plasmids, respectively.
