General description
Sigma′s DirectLoad Wide Range DNA Marker contains 16 fragments from 50 – 10,000 bp, with bands regularly spaced. Ten ul of the ladder can be loaded directly in a single lane on an agarose or polyacrylamide gel.
Application
Suitable for size determination of PCR-generated DNA fragments with either agarose or polyacrylamide gels.

Components
Sigma′s DirectLoad™ Wide Range DNA Marker is provided in a gel-loading solution of 2.5% Ficoll (Type 400), 0.0125% bromophenol blue, and 0.00625% xylene cyanol.
Other Notes
Contains 16 fragments, 50–10,000 bp which produce logically spaced bands on an agarose gel.
For optimal resolution, the recommended agarose gel concentration is 0.75 – 2.0%.
