General description
Gold nanorods (AuNRs) are gold nanoparticles that have been elongated to form a rod type structure. They are interesting materials due to their optical properties that allow a strong absorption band in the visible part of the spectrum. They can easily be tuned to achieve spectra in a wide range of wavelength.
Application
AuNRs are mainly utilized in the biological application as materials that are suitable in sensors, photothermal therapy and other imaging based devices.
Physical properties
Do not freeze, quality lost if frozen even once. Please keep at approximately 4 °C
