General description
La disolución antibiótica antimicótica está formulada para contener 10 000 U de penicilina, 10 mg de estreptomicina y 25μg de anfotericina B por ml, y está solubilizada en una disolución tampón de citrato patentada. Se recomienda su uso en aplicaciones de cultivo celular a una concentración de 10 ml/litro. La disolución antibiotico antimicótica se utiliza en general para evitar el crecimiento de microorganismos dañinos, como bacterias y hongos en los medios de cultivo celular.[1]
Application
La disolución antibiótica antimicótica se ha utilizado:
- como suplemento en diferentes tipos de medios de cultivo celular.[2][3][4]
- como componente de la disolución salina tamponada con fosfato (PBS) estéril para prevenir la contaminación de los fibroblastos del ligamento periodontal (PDLF) que se aíslan y cultivan en los experimentos.[5]
- como componente de la disolución de almacenamiento para preservar los segmentos traqueales recolectados para la investigación experimental posterior.[6]
Biochem/physiol Actions
Modo de acción: La penicilina actúa inhibiendo la síntesis de la pared celular bacteriana. La estreptomicina inhibe la síntesis de proteínas en procariotas al evitar la transición del complejo de iniciación al ribosoma para la elongación de la cadena, y produce codificación incorrecta. La anfotericina B interfiere en la permeabilidad de la membrana fúngica mediante la formación de canales en las membranas, lo que produce la salida de las moléculas pequeñas.
Espectro antimicrobiano: Incluye las bacterias gramnegativas, las bacterias grampositivas, los hongos y las levaduras.

I am looking at the SDS for product number A5955, Antibiotic Antimycotic soln. I do not see Amphotericin B in composition of ingredients (3.2 mixtures). I want to know why. Thank you.
