Ciclopirox is a broad-spectrum antifungal agent that also exhibits anti-inflammatory and antibacterial activity. The lotion and cream formulations of ciclopirox are effective in many types of infection, including tinea corporis/cruris, tinea pedis, cutaneous candidiasis, pityriasis (tinea) versicolor, and seborrheic dermatitis.
