Is product Z763780, BeadBug prefilled tubes (Benchmark Scientific product D1032-10) autoclaveable? If so do the caps need to be removed first?
1 answer-
The tubes can be autoclaved. It is recommended to loosen the caps if autoclaving. However, this product is certified to be nuclease and protease free and is filled in a sterile process that is tested to be free of stray DNA. Therefore, there is no reason to autoclave them. In fact, autoclaving may introduce contaminants.
