General description

Sigmatrix Urine Diluent is a non-biological diluent that mimics human urine.This product can be used as a diluent for sample prep, controls and calibrators and is recommended for LC-MS based applications. Sigmatrix Urine Diluent has been successfully used in enzymatic hydrolysis of drug glucuronides and LC-MS analysis of drugs and drug metabolites. The formulation is dye-free.

Components

Buffered solution containing calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, potassium chloride, sodium chloride, sodium phosphate, sodium sulfate, urea, and creatinine with sodium azide as a preservative.

Storage and Stability

Sigmatrix Urine Diluent should be stored at 2–8 C.
