General description

ReadyPlate agar plates are stackable, specially designed plates that help increase safety during handling, transport, and incubation. ReadyPlate agar plates are of 55mm diameter. Tryptone Glucose Extract Agar is a non-selective medium used for the cultivation and enumeration of microorganisms in water and other filterable liquids by the membrane filtration technique. Tryptone and meat extract provides nitrogenous, carbonaceous compounds, long-chain amino acids, vitamin B complex, and other essential growth nutrients. Glucose serves as the energy source.

Application
