General description

Two 12 gauge SS needles (6 and 18 in.) are connected to the CHEM-FLEX 106 tubing with nylon clamps. Liquids contact only PTFE and SS during transfers. For extra security when using large bore transfer needles, fasten septum to bottle or flask opening with a wrap-it tie.

The nylon clamps are replaceable, see Z224170.

Questions

  1. Can the ChemFLEX transfer lines be reused, or are they single use?

    1 answer
    1. The Chem-FLEX transfer lines are primarily designed for single use. Depending on the chemical being transferred, DMSO or methanol can be used to clean the line, but it is advisable to use it for similar chemicals or dispose of it after a single use. The needles can be removed and used for another transfer at a different time.
