  1. This valve (Z187224) looks to have pipe thread on one side and compression fitting on the other. 1. Is that correct? 2. Are both 1/4"?

    1. This valve features a compression fitting on one side, designed for 1/4 inch metal tubing. The other side features a CGA 110 fitting (interior female thread) that is intended to connect to a lecture bottles. While not designated as 1/4 inch, the CGA 110 typically has an inner diameter of 1/4 inch. The CGA fitting requires a PTFE sealing washer. Product Z146986 is recommended. The image below is a fully connected valve:
