Description

General description

DBCO-dPEG^®₁₂-MAL is a versatile heterobifunctional cross-linking reagent used in strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC) reaction. This approach is also known as copper-free click chemistry. The presence of maleimidopropyl (MAL) functional group in the reagent forms a thiol-ether linkage with sulfhydryl groups.

Features and Benefits

DBCO-dPEG^®₁₂-MAL can be used to conjugate two different proteins or an antibody with a payload by using copper-free "click" chemistry with the DBCO and reaction of the maleimide with a free thiol.
