Description
Analysis Note
In this application, SPME was used for the analysis of volatiles in white wine using a headspace method. The presence of aroma compounds in white wine is one of the most important attributes of its final quality. A Carboxen/PDMS fiber was inserted into the headspace of the vial for 10 minutes at 40 °C and analyzed by GC/MS. The thick film of the VOCOL GC column helps focus the volatile analytes.
