The complement component C3 and the cleavage products of C3b/iC3b, C3c and C3d are used as biomarkers in clinical diagnostics. Currently, no specific antibodies are able to differentiate C3d from other fragments, although such a distinction could be very valuable

  1. What is the solubility of this product in water and or PBS?

    1. This product is not tested for solubility. However, cobra venom is reportedly soluble at 20 mg/mL in water to yield a clear to slightly hazy solution. Store the solution in aliquots - 20°C or -80°C.
