Biochem/physiol Actions

AA-263 is a cell penetrant, potent and selective ATF6 activator that corrects the trafficking, conformation, secretion, and function of AAT-Z. AA-263 increases AAT neutrophil elastase (NE) inhibitory activity, while reducing polymer accumulation for the majority of AATD (alpha-1 antitrypsin (AAT) causes AAT deficiency) variants.
