Biochem/physiol Actions

Dimethylaminoparthenolide (DMAPT) is a water-soluble analogue of parthenolide that exhibits anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor activities. It directly binds to ribosomal protein L10 (RPL10) leading to decrease the expression of either p65 or IKKγ in varies pancreatic cancer cells. Dimethylaminoparthenolide radiosensitizes non-small-cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) by inhibition of the canonical NF-κB pathway.
