General description

Anti-OPN3 Antibody detects endogenous levels of total OPN3 protein.

Opsin 3 (OPN3) is also termed as encephalopsin or panopsin. It is a member of the encephalopsin/tmt-opsin subfamily. It is expressed in brain, liver, placenta, heart and pancreatic tissues. The OPN3 gene is located on human chromosome 1q43.

The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human OPN3.
