Specificity

Detects an N-terminal proteolytic fragment. Additional bands are observed, probably corresponding to aggregated, modified, or intact PS-2.

Immunogen

synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 7-24 of the N-terminal of human presenilin-2 (PS-2). The sequence is the same in mouse and rat.

Physical form

Solution in in 0.05 M sodium phosphate buffer, pH 7.5, containing 0.2% gelatin and 0.1% sodium azide.
