Application

Ethylenediamine solution was used in the synthesis of ultra-small CdSe quantum dots.[1] It may be used as solvent in the preparation of ZnS and ZnSe precursors (ZnS·0.5en and ZnSe·0.5en, en = ethylenediamine), via solvothermal process.[2] It may be employed for the synthesis of inulin based polycation (Inu-EDA).[3]

An inulin based polycation (Inu-EDA) has been synthesized by the grafting of ethylenediamine molecules onto inulin backbone. The obtained inulin copolymer has been though to coat SPIONs (IC-SPIONs) and obtain stable magnetoplexes by complexation of IC-SPIONs with a model duplexed
