Application

Efavirenz is a non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI) used primarily to treat HIV infection or AIDS. This Certified Spiking Solution® is suitable for use as starting materials in the preparation of calibrators, controls, or linearity standards for a variety of LC-MS/MS or GC/MS testing applications including therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) and clinical and diagnostic testing. Efavirenz has been shown to lower the effectiveness of co-administered drugs such as protease inhibitors, immunosuppressants, and azole antifungals.
