General description

The MultiTherm shaker is a temperature controlled vortexer, useful for a variety of molecular biology applications. Despite its modest 8 x 11 in. footprint, all popular tubes and plates are compatible, including as many as 6 x 50 mL tubes.

Speed, time and temperature settings are continuously visible on the LCD, simultaneously showing both actual and selected values. Integral over-temperature control ensures long life, safety and sample integrity.

Blocks available separately, accomodate tubes from 0.2 mL to 50 mL.

  • Heating rate: 5°C/min.
  • Cooling rate: 2.5°C/min.
  • Speed increment: 10 rpm
  • Timer: 1min. to 99 hrs 99 min./continuous
  • Contoured wells provide uniform heating
  • Sequence link function for linking or repeating programs
